My Story
From the Fisher Housing Projects of New Orleans to the halls of influence and impact, Prophetess Jaletha Porter is proof that God’s grace is greater than any struggle. A wife, mother of six incredible children, entrepreneur, and an anointed prophetic voice for this generation, she has now been honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award, signed by the President of the United States. Her journey is nothing short of miraculous—a story of survival, redemption, and divine purpose.

Her life has been marked by battles that could have broken her. She has overcome addiction, depression, self-harm, multiple suicide attempts, homelessness, and deep generational wounds. Rejected by both parents and raised by her grandmother, she found herself introduced to church yet wounded by betrayal from those meant to cover her. She has endured eviction, fought against mental illness, and suffered the heartbreaking loss of her mother to breast cancer. And just when she thought she had faced her deepest loss, she experienced the passing of her father. Yet, even in grief, she chooses to stand in faith, cherishing the wisdom, strength, and legacy they left behind.

BUT GOD.
When the enemy counted her out, God stepped in and rewrote her story. What was meant to destroy her became the foundation for healing, deliverance, and divine authority. The girl who once questioned her worth is now a Prophetess called to the nations, declaring victory, restoration, and breakthrough.

Today, Prophetess Jaletha Porter is a force in ministry, business, and empowerment. She is the owner of Porters Tax & Bookkeeping, JP Elite Business & Financial Solutions,—kingdom-minded businesses designed to break financial strongholds, build generational wealth, and provide spaces for people to create lasting memories. But beyond business, her true mandate is to break generational curses and release the people of God into freedom. She is called to tear down strongholds, destroy cycles of bondage, and lead others into financial, emotional, and spiritual deliverance.

Her life is a walking manifestation of Genesis 50:20 (NIV):
“You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.”

Prophetess Jaletha doesn’t just preach faith—she is faith in action. A voice of power, fire, and prophetic authority, she stands as a testament that no past is too broken for God to redeem, no generational curse too strong to be broken, and no destiny too lost to be restored. What the enemy tried to silence, God has anointed to speak. And she is just getting started.
