Apostle and Prophetess Jerry Porter are living, breathing testimonies of God’s unfailing grace and redemption. As the proud parents of six amazing children, they have walked through the valleys of life and emerged victorious by the power of God. Married for 19 years, their journey has been marked by trials that could have broken them—but instead, they became the foundation of their faith.

 

They have faced addiction, homelessness, verbal abuse, and mental illness. They’ve walked dark roads, selling drugs and living a life far from God’s plan. They’ve slept in their car, holding onto nothing but hope and each other. But even in their lowest moments, heaven had a blueprint for their comeback. What the enemy meant for evil, God used to shape their testimony, turning their pain into purpose, their mess into a ministry, and their past into a platform for His glory.

 

Today, they are not just survivors—they are curse breakers. They believe that God has specifically called them to break generational curses, and they are doing so one by one. From addiction to freedom, from brokenness to restoration, they are walking in the authority that God has given them to destroy the chains that have held their family and others in bondage for generations.

 

As the visionary leaders of The Real Ministry in Houston, Texas, they are on a mission to save souls, break chains, and bring healing and restoration to those who feel too lost to be found. But their impact goes beyond the pulpit. They are powerhouse entrepreneurs, running multiple businesses, including a thriving tax business and a successful insurance company.

 

Once partners in crime, they are now partners in Christ—authors, business owners, and relentless warriors for the Kingdom. They don’t just preach the gospel; they live it. From addicted to drugs to addicted to God’s presence, purpose, and power, they have turned their testimony into a movement.
